Free Icon’s can help you create a wealth of attention to your services / products as all designers and developers will use them in their websites, apps and softwares. Types of icons could be Desktop icons like the ones found in windows on the PC or Doc icons on the Mac. On every website your sure to find Favicons the are usually in the browser address bar that and also show up in the tabs in firefox.
Social media icons can be found at the end of every post or article you read as they help with a sites popularity. The more we designed the icon the more chance it will catch attention and get clicked through which can be very important.

Icons make up a great part of any User Interface and have been apart of the development of software since windows 3.1
(the earliest one i can remember im only 23 
). Weither its a website, desktop / web application icons can serve not only as
a little detail of design but also as a visual indicator of what that thing over there in the corner of a users screen is supposed
to do.
Today i have compiled a list of 50+ hand-picked icons that i felt best served the software field as well as contributing to any
kind of development. Not all of the icons in this list were picked to be used in every project such as the windows ones but
can then serve as inspiration towards creating maybe your own unique icons set
